I have to disagree especially if you will lose your money. will see on my next video that covers the area at night on the 27th Aug you would be making a big mistake cancelling your holiday because you think the area isn't safe 🧐

@@thailandtony If you can't postpone your trip or get your money back, than you won't have a choice but to carry on with the trip. But for me personally I make it a point now not to travel to Phuket n Krabi in Sept n Oct.

Incorrect all you have to do is look through my facebook over the last 7 years and you will see that it does not rain non stop yes of course it rains it rainy season but NON STOP THAT RUBBISH & my group proves that isn't the case from the 1000s of post it holds all your doing is spread misinformation

@@thailandtony You can't doubt me as this was from my personal experience. I had been in Phuket a few times in Sept n Oct n each time it rained for many days. What I meant "non stop" does not mean it literally rained for 24h everyday. It was raining almost everyday for a few hrs each time, that was what I meant. And usually I spent a week to 10days in Phuket. But it surely was enough to dampen your mood. In conclusion it's best to avoid Phuket in Sept n Oct. I'm born n grew up in this region, so I know what I'm talking about.

I saw a video where it says there are heavy flooding in Phuket. Showing a video where knee level water is visible and loss of property as well. I think they are using some old video

No areas have been affected badly. As I have shown on my video's apart from the landslide which is nowhere near the tourist area in Kata and the one corner of beach road which you can still walk around. THE AREA IS PERFECTLY SAFE. Way to many people on social media that are not reporting this responsibly and are simply lying just to get clicks please ignore those I will be doing a night life video on the area in the next few days which again will show that there is nothing to be worried about.

February is an excellent time to visit, classed as high season it will be hot and sunny very little chance of rain 👍Jan to April is by far the best time to visit phuket weather wise

Totally, many content creators are blowing it all out of proportion just to get clicks/views the area is perfectly safe only a very small number of businesses were directly affected most have now already reopened I will be covering the area regarding night life in the coming week to show that there has been no lasting effects. the only area that I would describe as being significantly bad is the landslide area which took the lives of 13 people which is very sad but this is nowhere near the tourist area and does not directly affect tourists. As for the road collapse on beach rd its a very small section again media creators have gone out of there way to make it look much worse than it is again for views and clicks they don't care about the area only about how much they can make out of it I try and show the whole picture not a edited narrow view see my other update on beach rd 👍🙏

it was the early hours of the morning people were sleeping so unfortunately had no warning of the landslide, it is a very sad event which has now claimed the lives of 13 people😢 however, I wish to reassure people whilst very sad for those affected it does not affect the tourist as this area is nowhere near the tourist area

some parts had been flooded earlier in the morning this took place at 4am until around 5 or 6 am so most of the flood waters had recited by the time I arrived at 11am I didn't hear about the situation until 8.30ish of course there has been a clean up operation in place which had just started when I arrived.

Not unless your landing when there's a lot of other flights landing at the same time normally it's not too bad

Honestly, nothing to worry about many are blowing it up for there benefit not yours I'm going to do a nightlife video in the next few days to again show the area is fine and help people to there worries aside 👍🙏

Yes perfectly safe, unfortunately there are those on social media who don't show the full picture as the saying goes bad news sells but it's often misleading. the events that happened on the 23th are no longer affecting the area to any great extent regarding visiting as a tourist

Hi, not normally a problem regarding accommodation as long as you book through a reputable travel agent or hotel Website ie booking dot com or agoda... Regarding areas there are many to pick from which I have over the years covered in much detail Patong being the liveliest but this does come down to time of year too remember we are currently in low season so many areas are a lot less busy including Patong. Without knowing you personally it always hard to recommend areas as they may not suit your particular tastes this is why I cover them on my channel showing both the good and the bad so you can decide on if it something that suits you. Bang Tao is a great area but not without a few faults Kamala another popular and good area Surin, Karon, Kata but I understand your reservations about kata and Karon given the last few days, Nai Harn Rawai all are good areas but don't suit everyone you just need to do a little research to see what suits you best 👍🙏
